'Riga Security Forum 2020: Podcast sessions' continues with a conversation on the U.S. Election impact on transatlantic security. What do the provisional results mean for the world at large and the transatlantic bond in particular? What's next for NATO, American boots and nukes in Europe, trade with the EU? More or less America in Europe, and Europe in America?
The conversation with Prof. Daniel S. Hamilton, the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation Distinguished Fellow and Director of the Global Europe Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, as well as Senior Fellow and Head of the Foreign Policy Institute’s “The United States, Europe, and World Order” Program at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC, is led by Dr. Māris Andžāns, Senior Fellow at the LIIA and assistant professor at Riga Stradiņš University.
The project is the result of successful collaboration between the Latvian Institute of International Affairs (LIIA) the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Representation of the European Commission in Latvia, the German Federal Foreign Office, and Embassies of Poland, Canada, and Spain in Latvia.
